Like pinheads, small and tiny crickets have weaker jaws which make chewing tough grains or vegetables more difficult. They too should have access to fresh lettuce or bokchoy which is easily eaten and should be replaced daily. A plastic dish and cloth watering system can be introduced at this point as long as it is easy for the crickets to get to. You may need to sand the sides of your dish so the crickets have something to grip onto when climbing up to get a drink. Once you have observed the crickets drinking easily from this for a few days, it is no longer necessary to give them lettuce or bokchoy each day, instead cutting back to replacing it 2 or 3 times a week. As with pinheads, smaller crickets may find eating their dry source of food difficult so it is best to ground it into a fine powder. Crickets of this size don't need as much room as larger crickets but still need egg cartons or other housing materials so that they can get away from each other and have somewhere safe to molt.
